🇮🇹 Mi scadevano i mirtilli - e mi sono ricordata di una ricetta che ho visto tempo fa su Instagram.

Ingredienti (per 8 snacks):

200 gr cioccolato senza zucchero - ho usato @funkyfatfoods
120 gr di mirtilli, circa 8 manciate

Squaglia il cioccolato a bagnomaria. Raggruppa i mirtilli in 8 parti, usando uno stampino.
Ricopri con il cioccolato fondente squagliato. Fatto! Consiglio tanto, sono buonissimi, e sono piacevolissimi da mordere (Immaginati la croccantezza del cioccolato + la morbidezza del mirtillo, fantastico).

🇬🇧 My blueberries were about to expire - and I remembered a recipe that I saw on Instagram some time ago - so I made it keto. 
Ingredients (for 8 snacks): 
200g sugar-free chocolate
120g blueberries, about 8 handfuls

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Divide the blueberries into 8 parts, in a mold.
Cover with the melted chocolate.
Done! Really, Try them! they are very tasty, and they are very pleasant to bite (the crunchiness of the chocolate + the softness of the blueberry, omgggg).

🥥 Keto Protein Coconut Bombs
Ingredients (12 balls)
50g peanut butter 100%
50g white chocolate @keto_loca_be
30g vanilla-flavored protein powder
1 teaspoon sweetener
30g shredded coconut
Instructions:
Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler.
In a food processor, add peanut butter, melted white chocolate, protein powder, and sweetener.  Mix for about 4 minutes, to get a homogeneous mixture.
Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Take a spoonful of dough at a time and shape into balls with your hands.
Roll the balls in shredded coconut.
The Keto Protein Coconut Bombs are ready.

🥥Bombe chetogeniche proteiche al cocco
Ingredienti (12 palline)
50 g burro di arachidi 100%
50 g cioccolato bianco @keto_loca_be
30 g proteine in polvere - gusto vaniglia
1 cucchiaino dolcificante
30 g cocco rapè
Istruzioni:
Fondi il cioccolato bianco senza zucchero a bagnomaria.
In un robot da cucina, aggiungi il burro di arachidi, il cioccolato bianco fuso, le proteine, e il dolcificante. Mischia per 4 minuti fino a ottenere un composto omogeneo. Lascia riposare l’impasto in frigo per 15 minuti.
Preleva un cucchiaino di pasta alla volta, e forma con le mani delle palline.
Rotola le palline nel cocco rapé.
Le Bombe di cocco chetogeniche proteiche sono pronte

🥥Keto proteïne kokosbommen
Ingrediënten (12 balletjes)
50 g 100% pindakaas
50 g witte chocolade @keto_loca_be
30 g vanille-eiwitpoeder
1 theelepel zoetstof
30 g geraspte kokos
Instructies:
Smelt de witte chocolade au bain-marie.
Voeg in een keukenrobot pindakaas, gesmolten witte chocolade, eiwitpoeder en zoetstof toe. Meng gedurende ongeveer 4 minuten tot een homogeen mengsel is verkregen.
Laat het deeg 15 minuten rusten in de koelkast.
Neem telkens een lepel deeg en vorm er met je handen balletjes van.
Rol de balletjes in de geraspte kokos.
De keto proteïne kokosbommen zijn klaar.

Finally made it to the cherry blossoms 🌸 the day was not sunny but whatever!

Highlight of the weekend is the progress with the triceps pulley - I could lift 50, after months stuck between 36 and 45.

WHY I quit Keto and I am introducing CARBS with moderation.

⚖️ Balance: Excessive protein and fats no longer felt right. Something was missing, I felt often unsatisfied with my meals and hungrier than usual – even while eating an adeguate amount of food.

🍔 Sustainability: Lately I was struggling my consistency and frequently cheating. This was my warning bell that keto was not right for me anymore.

🏋️‍♂️ Fitness Goals: A slightly higher carb intake support muscle recovery, and since I want to get stronger, I need some more carbs.

All these reflections led me to realize that keto wasn’t the right fit for me anymore, at least for now.

This doesn’t mean that suddenly I’ll be trusting all the carbs.

My primary focus will always be on prioritising high-quality proteins and healthy fats.
And I will still have a lot of keto meals and products.

I will update you on this new chapter of my health journey.
