1 Month of CARB CYCLING Dump! 🚀

If you’ve been following my Instagram stories, you know I was seriously struggling with keto and high protein: stuck at the same weight for months, low performance at the gym, and no muscle growth. So, I decided to give carbs another shot, but this time, I took it really seriously.

I downloaded MyFitnessPal, and yes, I even paid for the Pro version! 😅 No more randomly adding carbs—I’m tracking every single food and calorie, making sure to hit that balance and get the right macros. I’m following a 50-30-20 split now. Not every day is perfect (because I tend to overeat protein, but whatever 🤷‍♀️).

It’s only been a month so far, but from what I’ve read, I can keep carb cycling for weeks or even months until I’m ready to switch back to keto or low-carb. Honestly, I don’t know if or when that’ll happen. For now, I’m really happy and wanted to share this with all of you! 😊

Why I’m Loving This:

Weight Loss: I’ve lost a bit more than 2 kilos in a month! 🎉 And that’s with eating more than enough, allowing myself at least one free meal a week (sometimes more), and even treating myself daily—whether it’s a protein snack, real ice cream, or a cocktail. 🍦🍸

Gym Gains: My energy at the gym has multiplied. I’m lifting more, hitting new PRs, and getting more reps, even with my upper body, which has always been my weakness. 💪

Consistent Energy Levels: My energy levels are great, honestly. I feel so much better throughout the day. 🔥

No More Hunger Pangs: The thing I feared most was the hunger pangs—the main reason I started keto in the first place. I only felt them twice at the beginning of carb cycling, but once I got to know my body and the food I needed daily, hunger hasn’t been an issue. 🙌

✨Thank you, August, for changing my perspective. I’m excited to see what September brings. I’ll keep you all posted—let’s see if I stick with it or if my motivation drops!

Ingredients:
200 gr shredded raw cabbage
1 spoon no sugar mayo @jeanbatonmayo
1 spoon @caesar_cardinis_dressings
1 spoon red vinegar
1/2 lemon juice
1 teaspoon cream
Spices: salt, garlic, black pepper

A good mix and you are welcome.
