Unlike many protein ice creams that can feel airy, bubbly, or inconsistent, <strong>these are genuinely dense and creamy. <\/strong><br>They really deliver that mouthfeel of traditional ice cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The taste was equally surprising. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Madagascar Vanilla <\/strong>flavor has an authentic and intense vanilla taste that feels very close to regular premium vanilla ice cream. It\u2019s rich, flavorful, and genuinely enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Chocolate flavor<\/strong> is just as impressive. As you can tell from its deep brown color, it tastes very similar to real chocolate ice cream. The quality of the chocolate seems excellent, reminding me of the dark chocolate notes you find in authentic Italian gelato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having tried almost every protein ice cream available in the Netherlands, I can confidently say that <strong>these two are currently my favorites<\/strong>. It contains slightly more protein and less fat than Oppo, Albert Heijn, and Gelatelli. The carb content is a bit higher, but calories remain competitive\u2014only slightly higher than Gelatelli, while Oppo and Albert Heijn are higher in calories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vanilla and Chocolate recipes are <strong>about 85\u201390% identical<\/strong>. The biggest difference is that the vanilla contains Inulin and egg yolk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The only downside for me is the use of maltitol.<\/strong> Even though the recipe also contains erythritol, I\u2019ve never been a big fan of maltitol due to its higher glycemic impact and potential digestive effects. <br>That said, it\u2019s probably one of the reasons why the texture is so close to real ice cream, so I can understand the formulation choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I like that no sugar is added.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Yay_or_Nay\"><\/span>Yay or Nay?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, this is a big YES!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can honestly say that, in terms of both formulation and taste, Muscle Meat Protein Ice Cream is the closest a protein ice cream has come to real gelato. The texture is dense and creamy, while the flavors taste authentic rather than artificially sweet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also appreciate that one of the flavors is Vanilla.
