I made myself a promise this year: I\u2019d see the 6 again on the scale.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last time I saw it was back in the summer of 2020. Back then, it was keto and intermittent fasting \u2014 the whole shebang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it worked\u2026 until it didn\u2019t. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventually, I was gaining weight even while staying \u201cketo clean.\u201d That was one of the most disheartening things \u2014 doing all the \u201cright\u201d things and still seeing progress slip away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And you know how it ended, with a definitive Goodbye to Keto<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

But this week, I saw the 6 again.<\/strong> And this time, I did it with balance, with moderation\u2026 and yes, with carbs. \ud83c\udf5e\ud83c\udf5d\ud83d\ude0d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This win means the world to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This journey hasn\u2019t been fast. But it\u2019s been happy slow<\/strong> \u2014 the kind of progress that came without sacrificing life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


I never said no to a spritz on a sunny day \u2600\ufe0f, or real ice cream when I wanted it.
I had pizza on the weekends, that little chocolate after coffee, and yes, burgers and fries when I craved them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I actually practiced balance.
For real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That doesn\u2019t mean it was easy. It took discipline. It took honesty with myself. It meant tracking almost every day, managing internal noise, and pushing through those moments when food felt loud and comfort was tempting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I did it. I\u2019m proud. I did this alone.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No extreme restrictions.
No cutting entire food groups.
No medication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just me, my consistency, a few trusted high-protein recipes (yes, the ones you can find here on the blog \u2013 just trust meeeee), MyFitnessPal app, and all the small internal battles most people never see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 6 is back.
And this time, I hope I can keep it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next goal: lean down a little more. Shred. Push further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
