Also this broth is not ready to eat per se, but almost ready, because you just need to add water and warm it a bit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_to_find_bones_to_make_your_own_broth_in_The_Netherlands\"><\/span>Where to find bones to make your own broth in The Netherlands<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to do your own broth, you have to buy beef or chicken bones. In Dutch, <em><strong>runderbotten<\/strong><\/em> and <strong>kipbotten<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can buy amazing Beef bones grass-fed online on the website Vlees Bij Ons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/trustnocarb.com\/index.php\/2022\/05\/13\/where-to-find-grass-fed-meat-in-the-netherlands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Read also where to buy grass-fed meat in the Netherlands.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"My_keto-friendly_bone_broth_recipe\"><\/span>My keto-friendly bone broth recipe<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I only did my broth once, and I was not a fan, because of the smell in the house. Plus, I am lazy to do my own. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I bought the beef bones from Vlees Bij Ons. I used my <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/46vEZ5G\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">slow cooker<\/a>. I read that the bones must be cooked for at least 12-24 hours. I don&#8217;t want to do that. I think 5 hours is more than enough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preparation time: 10 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Beef\/chicken bones (grass-fed if you can)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Veggies <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vinegar (optional &#8211; but it helps the minerals)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Desired spices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place the desired amount (usually I do 500 gr) of bones in the slow-cooker.<br>Add water, enough to cover the bones. Add the spices, and the veggies you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Set the timer for 5-6 hours, in low- mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After 5-6 hours, transfer the broth into glasses jars, and let them cool down.<br>After that, the gelatine and the broth should be divided: keep the gelatine in a jar apart, which can be used as fat to cook. Keep the remaining broth in the fridge (not more than 3 days) or store it in the freezer, like in practical ice-cubes trays.
