Hello there, and welcome to my blog!<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n



I’m Simona! Originally from Italy, I am living in the Netherlands with my husband and my cat Newton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcome to Trust No Carb!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I created this blog a few years ago during my keto journey. Keto worked wonders for me and it marked the beginning of my commitment to a healthier lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, between 2023 and 2024, I found myself struggling with the rigidities of keto<\/strong>. I hit a plateau, stuck at the same weight for months, with low gym performance and no visible muscle growth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This prompted me to reevaluate my approach, leading to the decision to take a break from keto.
All i want now is to embrace a balanced lifestyle that brings me more freedom and happiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My transition is about embracing balance without losing the keto foundations I’ve learned<\/strong>: I still love sugar-free snacks and drinks, but I\u2019m now embracing a wider variety of foods that help me feel my best every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CURRENTLY, I follow a 50-30-20<\/strong> (carbs-fats-protein) regime and I meticulously count my calories.
This new strategy has allowed me to lose weight more effectively, and I\u2019m thrilled with my progress!
Controlled carbs and calories, combined with consistent training, have positively impacted my gains, eliminating the frustration of sudden weight fluctuations.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

That doesn\u2019t mean keto is gone from this blog! I\u2019ll keep a dedicated keto section for those who want to keep enjoying the low-carb life.
(I still love baking keto treats for my Italian blog<\/a> and explore the sugar-free section of the grocery store.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n


I am now sharing new range of recipes, meal prep ideas and lifestyle content that reflect a balanced perspective on food and health.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
